Founded in Bonn in 1991, IngenieurTeam2 felt drawn towards Rheinbach 12 years later, a medium-sized town about 15 km southwest of Bonn, at the foot of the Eifel mountains, at the beginning of the Rhenish ville in the ancient area of Roman water lines. Near the rail station stands the 25 high grain elevator built in the 1930s. It stopped functioning as the granary since the end of the 20th century. Today, it is a modern office tower and the home of IngenieurTeam2. In the motivating loft atmosphere of an industrial structure, not only building inventory plans are drawn, but also training sessions, workshops, seminars and presentations are held. In-house presentations are events to get to know each other. This is the home of regional engagement. But above all, the grain elevator stands for one thing: symbol of business activity. Like no other building, it reflects experienced preservation of historical monuments and consciously handling historic structures. It, thus, transports the actual engineering achievement outward in a most striking way: Surveying, checking and controlling structures. | |
